Effective date:
1. Information processed by Video Voice to Text
Video Voice to Text processes video files that you deliberately select. The selected file is uploaded to the configured CB Dev Studios transcription service so that audio can be extracted and converted into text.
2. Purpose of transcription processing
Uploaded media is used only to provide the requested transcription features, including language detection, transcript generation and timestamped subtitle generation.
3. Temporary media handling
The transcription service is designed to remove temporary uploaded video and extracted audio files after processing finishes or fails. CB Dev Studios does not use uploaded media for advertising or model training.
4. Transcript history
Transcription history is stored locally on the user's device. Users can remove local history entries inside the application or remove application data through their device settings.
5. Technical data and service logs
Hosting and security providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, request time, device or browser information, error details and network metadata to provide, secure and troubleshoot the service.
6. Service providers
CB Dev Studios may use infrastructure, domain, security and hosting providers to operate the public website and transcription service. These providers process information only as needed to supply their services.
7. Data retention
Temporary media is retained only for the time reasonably required to complete a transcription job and is then scheduled for deletion. Technical logs may be retained for a limited period for security, reliability and legal purposes.
8. AI information use and private development position
CB DEV STUDIOS AI is planned as a local first private development system. During its private development stage, model training, model checkpoints, datasets, generation inputs, generated assets, inference logs and internal implementation details are intended to remain on machines controlled by CB Dev Studios.
Context and misunderstanding
Earlier instructions or information must not be reused where doing so could create an incorrect assumption, expose private material or misrepresent what the user intended. Information disclosed for a particular purpose does not create unlimited permission to retain, train on, publish, redistribute or apply it to unrelated work.
Training permission
User prompts, uploaded content, private projects and generated assets will not be treated as approved AI training material without clear and informed permission from the owner. Public availability alone is not treated as proof that an item may be used for training.
Planned private controls
- No external AI APIs or third party hosted inference in private mode.
- No automatic telemetry, remote logging or crash uploads in private mode.
- No public hosting of private model checkpoints or training datasets.
- No automatic uploading of generation inputs or generated assets.
- Integrity verification and restricted access for locally stored checkpoints.
Model distribution limitation
Software installed on another person's computer cannot provide an absolute guarantee that embedded model weights will never be extracted. For the strongest practical protection, native checkpoints should remain on controlled machines and only generated assets, final CBD packages or software without private model weights should be distributed.
This section describes the intended design and development policy. Features that are still planned should not be interpreted as already deployed.
9. Community applications
If you choose to apply for a Community Modder or Community Creator listing, or to become a Play Tester, the website sends the information you enter to CB Dev Studios for review through the website's application service. The website does not automatically publish the application.
Application information may include your name or chosen display/channel name, contact email address, description, specialties, testing platforms or areas, and relevant public profile, mod, project, video, channel or community links. Contact email addresses are used for reviewing and communicating about the application and are not intended to appear in the public community directory.
If a Modder or Community Creator application is approved, only the public profile information and links selected for the directory are published. Play Tester applications are reviewed privately and are not published in the community directory by default. Application information may be retained for a reasonable period for review, administration, security and record keeping, and may be deleted when it is no longer required.
You may contact CB Dev Studios to request correction or removal of a community listing or to ask about information associated with an application.
10. Website analytics
CB Dev Studios may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and performance. This can include visits, page views, referring sites, country, device type, browser, operating system and page performance information.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed as a privacy first analytics service and does not use cookies or local storage for usage metrics or create individual visitor profiles. Analytics information is used to understand which pages are useful, improve website performance and identify general traffic trends.
11. Support messages
When you send a support message through the website, CB Dev Studios processes the information you provide so that the request can be reviewed, administered and answered.
This may include your name, reply email address, support category, subject, message and any relevant page, project or link you choose to provide. Your reply email is not intended to be displayed publicly.
Support information may be retained for a reasonable period for correspondence, troubleshooting, administration, security and record keeping, and may be deleted when it is no longer required.
Discord Helper applications
When you apply to become a Discord Helper, CB Dev Studios may process your name or preferred name, Discord username, reply email, timezone or region, availability, preferred helper area, experience, reasons for applying and any relevant link you choose to provide.
Discord Helper applications are reviewed privately. Application information is not intended to be published publicly and may be retained for application review, correspondence, community administration, security and record keeping for a reasonable period.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted HTTPS connections for production internet services. No internet or computer system can guarantee absolute security.
13. Children
Applications are not directed to children under the applicable minimum age for digital consent. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children.
14. User choices and requests
You may contact us to ask questions about privacy, request access to information associated with a support enquiry, or request deletion of information that we are legally able to identify and remove.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as applications, AI development or infrastructure changes. The current effective date will appear at the top of this page.
